What you will do

• Design and build APIs, services, Ethereum data pipelines, and staking infrastructure.
• Own system design end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, and observability.
• Integrate with Ethereum execution and consensus layer clients.
• Operate in a spec-first development environment, translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback to raise overall team quality.
• Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and output.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building backend systems in Golang.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and blockchain architecture, preferably Ethereum.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps.
• Strong testing practices for complex and stateful systems.
• Must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment based in New York.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Ethereum nodes or validator/staking infrastructure.
• Understanding of proof-of-stake mechanisms.
• Experience building blockchain indexers, dApps, or smart contracts (Solidity).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows like MCP or agent-based paradigms.
• Experience with Rust.
