Manager, Investment Accounting - Income Governance

Salary: $128,000–$168,000 per year

What you will do

• Review, reconcile, and analyze investment accounting data across insurance companies and subsidiaries.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial reporting to management.
• Investigate differences across investment and accounting systems and resolve exceptions.
• Support implementation of a new general ledger and other strategic finance initiatives.
• Recommend solutions for process issues, control gaps, and accounting-related problems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in investment accounting, insurance accounting, or a related accounting function.
• 6+ years of experience applying U.S. GAAP and/or Statutory accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting large data sets and communicating insights.
• Ability to collaborate across Securities Controllership, Investment Management Operations, Treasury, and other business areas.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA designation.
• Master’s degree.
• Experience with investment-related financial reporting.
