Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Menlo Park, CA, United States; onsite role

Compensation: $171,495–$203,651 base salary per year; total compensation package of $314,198 per year.

What you will do

• Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entry controls, reconciliations, sign-offs, and close checklists in FloQast.
• Own the accuracy and integrity of the NetSuite general ledger, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and posting or configuration issues.
• Lead SOX 404(b) financial reporting, general ledger, and close-cycle controls, including documentation, IPE accuracy, and deficiency remediation.
• Coordinate external audit activities, including PBC requests, walkthroughs, sample pulls, and interim and year-end fieldwork.
• Prepare monthly management reporting, functional-area flux analysis, cost-per-test analytics, and CFO-facing summaries.
• Lead and develop GL and AP accounting staff while improving close, accounting, vendor master, and disbursement processes.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing close activities and direct reports.
• CPA qualification, strong US GAAP knowledge, and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on SOX 404(b) experience as a control owner, including control narratives, IPE requirements, and deficiency remediation.
• Strong NetSuite experience, including saved searches and ideally SuiteQL; advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience with FloQast, Expensify, and Workiva is beneficial; post-IPO, Big Four, life sciences, diagnostics, or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
