What you will do

• Support New Technology Introduction (NTI) projects to deliver multi-generational product plans for operator assist and aftermarket offerings.
• Define and execute control system requirements for New Product Introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle support.
• Perform on-machine evaluation of controls, automation, and user interface solutions to ensure performance targets are met.
• Stay current with innovative technologies including machine learning, payload systems, and vision/perception systems.
• Lead small projects and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (Robotics, electrical, computer, mechanical, or mechatronics preferred).
• Working knowledge of control systems in construction, mining, agricultural, or automotive equipment.
• Proficiency in embedded systems development and requirements analysis.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Peoria, Illinois.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Matlab/Simulink or model-based software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Test engineering experience in automotive or construction equipment.
