What you will do

• Own the roadmap and strategic direction for key Auth0 infrastructure components and platform capabilities.
• Enhance cloud architecture and resilience, focusing on Geo HA failover mechanisms and AWS PrivateLink implementations.
• Lead the infrastructure strategy for Model Context Protocol (MCP) to secure autonomous LLM and AI agent authentication.
• Design and implement intelligent, multi-dimensional rate-limiting strategies to protect platform stability.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Security teams to bridge technical challenges with customer-facing value.
• Ensure all infrastructure features align with stringent security frameworks and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in technical backend, infrastructure, or platform products at an enterprise SaaS company.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Technical fluency in data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), API gateways, and high-availability database failovers.
• Familiarity with MCP, agentic workflows, and securing machine-to-machine (M2M) communications (OAuth 2.1, token exchange).
• Strong data-driven approach to defining and optimizing operational metrics and SLAs.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or cybersecurity.
• Experience managing platform infrastructure specifically tailored for AI agents or M2M communication.
