What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, data licensing, MSAs, SOWs, and vendor contracts.
• Act as the primary legal point of contact for Sales and Business Development on all contract matters.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions to streamline contracting.
• Advise stakeholders on risk allocation, liability exposure, IP ownership, and data privacy obligations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including tracking, execution, and renewals using CLM tools.
• Support corporate governance activities, board resolutions, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 3–7 years of relevant legal experience focusing on commercial and technology transactions.
• Experience drafting complex technology contracts, including SaaS, data licensing, and API agreements.
• Solid understanding of data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the adtech, martech, digital media, or data intelligence space.
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising, RTB, or connected TV (CTV) platforms.
• Familiarity with MRC standards or IAB frameworks.
• Exposure to IP licensing or AI/ML data use agreements.
