Location: Must be based in Warren, Michigan (Hybrid: 3 days/week on-site). No relocation assistance provided.

What you will do
- Lead the Product Development Team (PDT) to deliver closure subsystem milestones on time and within constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including manufacturing, studio, and CAE teams, to develop balanced solutions.
- Manage key deliverables through the Vehicle Development Process (VDP), including math releases, SORs, and PPAP.
- Assess engineering alternatives based on cost, weight, timing, and quality targets.
- Lead root cause analysis for dimensional and integration issues during program launches.
- Ensure design integrity through system design reviews and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship (No H-1B, OPT, etc.).
- Strong experience with engineering operations, specifications, and release processes.
- Proven program and project management experience.
- Advanced analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- DFSS Black Belt Certification or Red X Journeyman.
- Experience with fixture design and product validation.
- Experience with budget planning and cost management.
