What you will do
- Prepare and conduct in-lab, proving ground, and over-the-road data acquisitions (e.g., strain, accelerations).
- Analyze and evaluate data from proving ground and road measurements using Reliability Management (ReM) tools.
- Derive and verify customer test specifications by applying the company's ReM methodology.
- Document results and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide reliability management support to regional engineering teams.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or related manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of reliability management methodologies and proficiency in Weibull statistics.
- Strong knowledge of test equipment and methods, including data acquisition and transducers.
- Must not require sponsorship for employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Experience with LabView, LMS Test.Lab, LMS Tecware, IMC Cronos, or LMS SCADAS.
- Basic knowledge of finite element methods (FEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Experience with heat exchanger design and development.
