What you will do

• Support ISO 26262 activities throughout the full development lifecycle, including safety planning and HARA.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineering teams to ensure safety requirements are feasible and properly traced.
• Engage directly with customers during the RFQ stage to review safety objectives and resolve concerns.
• Develop and maintain critical safety work products, including Safety Manuals, FMEA, FTA, and Safety Cases.
• Support the continuous improvement of functional safety processes across the organization.
• Contribute to functional safety training and awareness sessions for internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience implementing ISO 26262, preferably in powertrain or EV applications.
• Expert knowledge of safety concepts, hazard analysis, risk assessment, FMEA, and FTA.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles across electronics, software, and mechanical hardware.
• Experience with related standards such as IEC 61508, ASPICE, or CMMI.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (10%).
