What you will do

• Design and implement core application components, critical services, and integration layers.
• Build end-to-end product capabilities using Python, Next.js, and modern backend patterns.
• Utilize agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate prototyping, refactoring, and test generation.
• Establish quality thresholds for correctness, latency, reliability, and user trust.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and DevOps on CI/CD, scaling strategies, and secure data handling.
• Partner with product builders to translate validated prototypes into production-ready implementations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Next.js/TypeScript for full-stack delivery.
• Proven daily fluency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and effective prompt strategies.
• Experience building and operating production distributed systems and backend services.
• Strong system design skills regarding APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience in a healthcare SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and enterprise access control models.
• Experience building or orchestrating agentic coding workflows and MCP integrations.
