Location: Must be based in Canada or the US, with a requirement to be present at the London, Ontario hub on a regular basis.

Salary: $100,000–$165,000 CAD per year.

What you will do

• Design and build tailored solutions on the IrisX platform from concept to production.
• Work across the full stack including backend, frontend, and data engineering.
• Take end-to-end ownership of software quality, reliability, and maintenance.
• Accelerate customer onboarding by delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to align solutions with platform direction.
• Engage with customers to translate technical requirements into scoped, production-grade solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade software.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Generalist mindset with deep hands-on expertise in at least one domain: frontend, backend, or data.
• Proficiency with modern tech stacks including React, TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, and Python.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to solving root causes.
• Must be comfortable with hybrid work and regular presence at the London, Ontario hub.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Flink, Databricks, Spark, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Nx and GraphQL.
• Integrated use of AI tools in the engineering workflow.
