FP&A Senior Financial Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Analyze quarter-over-quarter financial performance for hirify.global’s Bermuda legal entities, including actual-to-actual, actual-to-plan, and actual-to-forecast comparisons.
• Support annual planning and quarterly projections under Bermuda Statutory and US GAAP frameworks.
• Develop variance analyses, financial bridges, management commentary, and executive-level reporting materials.
• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Investments, Bermuda Finance, Group Finance, and business leadership during quarterly close and forecasting activities.
• Prepare derivative and FX analyses and explain financial results to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Improve reporting processes, analytical tools, data quality, and controls, and mentor FP&A team members as applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a professional accounting or actuarial qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or the financial industry.
• Experience accounting for life and annuity products under US GAAP, Bermuda Statutory, or EBS frameworks.
• Strong financial analysis, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress toward completion.
• Experience with derivatives and FX.
• Financial modeling experience.
