Controller, EMEA West | Finance Manager, Financial Controller (Finance)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with four in-office days each week

Base salary: GBP 106,700–120,000 annually. Target bonus: 20% annually.

What you will do

• Lead financial reporting, general accounting, monthly close, audits, and tax and statutory reporting across the EMEA West region.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and analysis across UK, Middle East, and Africa legal entities.
• Maintain internal controls and processes aligned with the standards of a publicly traded U.S. company.
• Build, develop, and optimize the local finance team through training, mentoring, and career development.
• Lead system implementations, process improvements, country projects, M&A activities, and global transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate external advisers and support FCA submissions, transfer pricing, tax planning, payroll, audit, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a complex multinational organization with multiple legal entities.
• Extensive experience with financial close, consolidation, reporting, SOX, and internal controls.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams and influencing stakeholders across global Finance functions.
• Strong commercial, strategic, analytical, governance, and financial-control skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or US GAAP is preferred.
