Financial Reporting Manager 1

Location: Hybrid, Southampton, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Complete accounting activities for a portfolio of fund structures, including equalisation and carry calculations.
• Interpret complex Limited Partnership Agreement requirements and apply them to accounting processes.
• Assist with complex audit queries and prepare and reconcile relevant direct and indirect tax returns.
• Lead regular client calls and correspondence while supporting fund administration processes.
• Review work produced by junior team members and mentor newer staff.
• Maintain working papers, internal system records, Microsoft Excel schedules, and compliance with internal control frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience handling accounting matters for fund structures.
• Ability to interpret and apply Limited Partnership Agreement requirements.
• Experience with audit queries, tax returns, reconciliations, and financial records.
• Ability to communicate with clients and take ownership of outcomes.
• Interest in developing subject matter expertise, improving processes, and mentoring junior colleagues.
