SDR Manager (ERP/SaaS): Leading a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives to drive new business acquisition and customer upsells within the government sector with an accent on professional development and operational excellence. Focus on coaching SDRs to become future Account Executives, optimizing prospecting strategies, and achieving aggressive team quotas.

Location: On-site in Chicago, IL

Salary: $110,000 – $125,000

What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 8-10 SDRs to achieve individual and team quotas.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing and Demand Generation teams to execute effective prospecting strategies.
  • Conduct weekly 1-on-1s and team meetings to foster continuous learning and career development.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales Development to refine processes and training programs.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring and onboarding process for new team members.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in quota-achieving sales or business development, ideally within the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of coaching and developing team members.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, preferably within the government sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, specifically Salesforce.com.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Must be based in Chicago, IL for on-site work

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with cold calling or sales bootcamp training.
