TL;DR

Lottery Field Service Technician (Field Services): Servicing, installing, and maintaining lottery equipment at retailer locations with an accent on technical troubleshooting and customer support. Focus on restoring malfunctioning equipment, transporting components, and delivering basic training to retailers.

Location: Must be based in Charlotte, NC or be able to service the NC Statewide area

Salary: $19–$21 per hour

What you will do

  • Transport, install, and maintain lottery equipment, replacement parts, and tools in an organized manner.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning hardware in the field to restore operational status, including swapping failed components.
  • Communicate arrival, departure, and resolution details accurately to Dispatchers.
  • Deliver marketing supplies and consumables such as paper and ribbons, while tracking inventory.
  • Provide basic and remedial training to retailers on correct equipment procedures.
  • Complete reporting forms for activities, equipment problems, and procedure improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in technical repairs and customer service-related positions.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights/rooftops.
  • Must be based in North Carolina; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Ability to perceive colors correctly.
