TL;DR

Location: United States - Virginia Field (Virginia Beach area)
Salary: $17.59-$27.64 per hour

What you will do
- Respond to routed and scheduled service calls to perform maintenance and servicing on equipment (primarily 90% of the role).
- Remove and securely destroy spent material using a custom ribbon/foil destruction tool in accordance with security protocols.
- Replace system supplies and consumables, perform documented preventative maintenance (PM), and run systems tests to ensure quality output.
- Maintain required inventory of parts and supplies as instructed, and report activity in a timely manner.
- Request and escalate immediate support when difficulties arise or when potential technical issues outside the role scope are identified.
- Drive to customer sites daily, with significant mileage and time spent driving.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Technical and/or mechanical aptitude; ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and spend most of the shift driving, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and walking.
- Valid and active driver’s license with insurability.
- Overtime and on-call availability as needed.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills; ability to follow documented technical processes and plan routes/schedules.
- Proficient with PCs and operating systems, including MS Windows and MS Office; strong verbal and written communication with external and internal customers.
Nice to have
- Additional electromechanical technician experience.
- Experience repairing power supplies and peripheral devices.
- Technical education.
- Experience using tools and electronic test equipment.
