What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal delegated authority business in accordance with guidelines and strategy.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of delegated underwriting authority programs, focusing on risk selection and pricing.
• Drive new business production by identifying and converting opportunities with brokers and coverholders.
• Act as a senior referral point for complex and material risks, exercising independent judgement.
• Participate in coverholder audits and collaborate with Actuarial, Claims, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and coverholders as a trusted senior partner.

Requirements

• 5+ years of property and casualty underwriting experience.
• Successful track record of underwriting large programs in Property and Casualty Lines.
• Proven ability to generate new business premium.
• University degree; CIP or FCIP designation is preferred.
• Deep expertise in policy wordings, forms, and applicable coverages.
• Strong relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
