TL;DR
Deal Desk Manager (SaaS): Building and scaling the deal desk function from the ground up to drive efficient deal execution and strong financial outcomes. Focus on designing approval workflows, partnering with Sales and Finance to structure complex deals, and implementing systems to reduce cycle times and improve revenue accuracy.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to South Jordan, Utah (Hybrid: M, W, F in-office)

What you will do
- Design and implement the deal desk strategy, including approval policies, escalation paths, and discounting guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day deal reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely support for Sales teams.
- Partner with Account Executives and Sales leadership to structure competitive and financially sound deals.
- Collaborate with Finance and FP&A to assess deal profitability, ARR impact, and revenue recognition.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to reduce deal cycle times.
- Develop reporting and insights on key deal metrics to present to leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in deal desk, preferably in SaaS or recurring-revenue businesses.
- Proven experience building or leading a deal desk function or similar cross-functional initiative.
- Strong understanding of SaaS contracts, pricing structures, ARR, and revenue recognition principles.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Legal departments.
Nice to have
- Experience with CPQ tools or contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience in a growth-stage SaaS environment.
