What you will do
- Lead the overall game submission process for AAA titles from pre-certification to post-launch, coordinating between dev, QA, and Release Management.
- Act as "mission control" during launches to drive internal alignment and resolve tactical live game issues.
- Drive the integration of backend and core technology services into games based on release schedules.
- Design and run internal game evaluation processes, incorporating feedback from Publishing and QA.
- Translate technical game knowledge into actionable business requirements for marketing and commercial partners.
- Manage designated portions of AAA game budgets, including external development and porting costs.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of experience in internal or external game development, specifically with AAA or Live Service titles.
- Proven ability to lead full games or major features from inception to ship.
- Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle and major milestones.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for managing diverse internal and external teams.
- Experience in financial management and resolving budget risks.
- Must be based in Novato, California.
