Cloud Engineering / DevSecOps Technical Lead (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead delivery teams across cloud engineering, architecture, platform engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps, operations, and Agile delivery.
• Translate customer mission needs into technical requirements, implementation plans, and delivery priorities.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, development tooling, automation, and deployment solutions.
• Establish and improve DevSecOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and repeatable secure delivery practices.
• Review software and automation artifacts, troubleshoot complex issues, manage incidents, and drive root-cause remediation.
• Track delivery metrics and communicate risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and outcomes to government and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years of experience, master's degree with 0–3 years, or 8–10 years of experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance must be maintained.
• Foundational experience with AWS, cloud architecture, cloud computing principles, and delivery models.
• Technical leadership experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud security.
• Experience implementing or operating CI/CD pipelines and modern development toolchains.
• Strong stakeholder management, Agile delivery, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or comparable Azure or GCP certification.
• Experience with GitLab or Jenkins, plus ITIL certification.
• Experience supporting intelligence or national security missions in secure environments.
