Senior AI Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States; travel to the Chattanooga, Tennessee headquarters is required for final interviews. Candidates residing in New York, New Jersey, California, or Massachusetts cannot be hired.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the installation, support, and production deployment of cloud software and services.
• Guide cloud migration, enterprise AI platform adoption, and decisions between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design secure, cost-effective, and high-performing Azure and GCP solutions with strong availability, scalability, and business continuity.
• Automate infrastructure and service delivery using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor metrics and logs, respond to alerts, troubleshoot systems, and support day-to-day cloud operations.
• Document infrastructure designs and procedures, and educate teams on cloud initiatives and operational practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of cloud infrastructure and software engineering experience.
• Enterprise network design experience, including segmentation, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience with firewalls, network authentication controls, and Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Strong Azure and/or GCP knowledge, cloud security architecture experience, and strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or Ansible, Git-based tools, Azure DevOps or Jenkins, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, or CloudTrail.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare, government, or finance.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or Google Gemini Enterprise.
