DevOps Team Leader (AI) (AWS/GCP): Leading infrastructure automation, CI/CD, cloud scalability, and reliability engineering for mission-critical digital investigation systems with an accent on AI-driven operations, regulated cloud environments, and secure multi-cloud architecture. Focus on designing resilient AWS, AWS GovCloud, and GCP infrastructure, improving deployment and observability, and leading complex incident response across distributed teams.
Location: New York City, United States. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team while raising engineering standards and technical capabilities.
- Design, build, review, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Drive AI and intelligent automation adoption, including AIOps, LLM-based automation, intelligent alerting, and AI-assisted engineering.
- Own and optimize highly available, secure, and scalable AWS Commercial, AWS GovCloud, and GCP environments, including networking and AWS Landing Zone architectures.
- Improve deployment velocity through controlled rollouts, canary deployments, automated validation, and reliable rollback strategies.
- Lead observability, incident response, postmortems, and reliability improvements in collaboration with Development, Security, Compliance, Platform, and Cloud Engineering.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required.
- 10+ years of DevOps experience and 5+ years leading a DevOps or SRE team.
- Experience introducing and driving adoption of AI practices and tooling relevant to DevOps.
- Hands-on production AWS experience, including on-call rotations, incident management, and SLA/SLO ownership.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, AWS, AWS GovCloud, GCP, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, automation, networking, and AWS Landing Zone architectures.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering, production-safe pipelines, software development, Agile/Scrum, monitoring, alerting, and reliability KPIs.
Nice to have
- Experience with FedRAMP, IRAP, or other regulated cloud compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to highly regulated, air-gapped, or government cloud environments.
- Experience defining enterprise reliability metrics and reporting to leadership.
- Familiarity with FinOps and AI/ML-powered DevOps tools.
- Experience leading organizational AI adoption initiatives, including training, tooling rollouts, or process redesign.
