What you will do

• Manage engineering scope, cost, and schedule for projects ranging from $50K to $100K.
• Develop PLC programs from scratch or customize based on customer templates.
• Design and configure control system networks using Ethernet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
• Assist engineering teams through all project phases from concept design to implementation and testing.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including design specifications and test plans.
• Act as the single point of contact for projects and build long-term relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of machine controls or packaging experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming (RS Logix, Studio 5000) and FactoryTalk HMI.
• Experience designing and configuring Rockwell hardware, VFDs, and servo systems.
• Minimum two-year degree in an electrical technology field (Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring and programming Fanuc robotic systems.
• Knowledge of Safety Control Systems.
• Experience as a control engineering lead for large capital projects.
