What you will do

• Manage projects from technical specification through to startup support.
• Design and develop electrical control systems and PLC software using industry standards.
• Implement and debug PLC code to optimize equipment performance and uptime.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards like OSHA 1910 and ANSI/RIA.
• Coordinate with external manufacturing systems and integrate torque tools.
• Support the installation, launch, and production phases of automated cells.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in automation controls.
• Expertise in RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk HMI, and Balluff I/O Link.
• Proficiency in Fanuc robotics programming and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and manage controls systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America.

Nice to have

• Experience with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV/AMR).
• Basic experience with vision systems for robot guidance.
