What you will do

• Set the engineering vision, operating model, and success metrics for a core post-trade portfolio.
• Partner with product and business leadership to translate multi-year strategy into actionable, outcome-driven roadmaps.
• Lead and mentor high-performing global architecture and engineering teams to drive platform modernization.
• Establish governance, quality gates, and engineering standards to ensure resiliency, security, and regulatory readiness.
• Manage budgets, vendor ecosystems, and capacity planning to optimize investment and delivery.
• Represent engineering to senior executives and clients, resolving escalations and driving strategic alignment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Fintech.
• 10+ years of experience in managing engineering teams, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Deep expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies and large-scale program management.
• Proven track record of leading platform transformation in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and clients.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Newark, NJ area (Hybrid).
