What you will do

• Lead and mentor an offshore full-stack engineering team responsible for mission-critical payment systems.
• Guide the technical direction of the platform with hands-on involvement in C#/.NET architecture and code.
• Drive seamless integrations with third-party payment gateways and acquirers such as Stripe Connect, Adyen, or Worldpay.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security using modern Azure cloud pipeline architectures.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver new features.
• Champion Scrum methodologies and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience leading technical teams.
• Proven and recent experience as a full-stack engineer with strong C#/.NET backend expertise.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, including transaction flows and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and CI/CD.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada (no sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with PCI-DSS compliance and other regulatory frameworks.
• Direct experience with Stripe Connect.
• Exposure to global acquiring banks, payouts, chargebacks, and KYC/AML processes.
• Experience with AWS.
