What you will do

• Provide technical support for body shop automation hardware, software, and control system interfaces.
• Lead end-to-end automation projects, managing scope, risks, and implementation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
• Train and support skilled trades on new automation and vision technologies.
• Maintain and optimize vision-guided applications using Keyence, Photoneo, and Matrox systems.
• Document and share lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement across plant systems.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in robot programming and troubleshooting (e.g., welding, dispensing).
• Proficiency with Fanuc robot programming, setup, and optimization.
• Experience with machine vision hardware and software platforms.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.
