Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Milford, Michigan (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).

What you will do

• Design and maintain reusable automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Partner with Test Champions to translate testing needs into scalable automated solutions.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, including defect logging and triage.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and maintain GitHub best practices.
• Document technical processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal testing tools and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Robot Framework.
• Experience with source control platforms like GitHub.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate test vehicles.
• Must be able to work on-site in Milford, Michigan at least 3 times per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive diagnostic tools like Vehicle Spy or INCA.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests.
• Experience with lab automation environments.
• Ability to mentor team members in scripting and automation best practices.
