What you will do

• Perform equipment rack and stack, including cable management and fiber/copper termination.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, server components, and network circuits.
• Execute equipment migrations and manage power utilization in co-location facilities.
• Maintain data center cleanliness, inventory verification, and rack elevation documentation.
• Coordinate access for customers and manage shipping/receiving of technical equipment.
• Provide emergency outage assistance with a 1-hour response time requirement.

Requirements

• Must be based in the New Jersey area for daily operations.
• 1+ years of experience in telecommunications or data center environments.
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards and network device deployment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and rotational on-call.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work under raised floors.
• Must be available for travel to various domestic and international data centers.
