What you will do

• Install and upgrade data center equipment racks, including switches, routers, and monitoring systems.
• Monitor, audit, and perform diagnostics and maintenance on servers and network infrastructure.
• Maintain integration and deployment tooling and manage inventory and event logs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and root cause analysis for hardware and network issues.
• Handle RMA processing and coordinate with the Logistics Team.
• Ensure tight SLAs are met through timely ticket completion and response.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco (On-site)
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent practical experience with knowledge of various Linux distributions.
• 3-5 years of experience in data center environments, operations, or IT.
• Ability to physically lift equipment at least 50 pounds
• Proficiency in troubleshooting terminal systems, swapping failed components, and repairing servers.
• Knowledge of OS installation, PXE, RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, and CLI.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CompTIA (Server+, Network+) or CCNP.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU linux software stack.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, and Github.
• Familiarity with Arista, Cisco, or Fortinet network hardware.
