What you will do

• Lead the design and integration of safety-related (Class 1E) and distribution electrical systems.
• Perform complex electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, and protective relay coordination using ETAP.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering deliverables such as one-lines, schematics, and load lists.
• Develop detailed procurement specifications for major electrical components like transformers and switchgear.
• Ensure designs meet rigorous regulatory standards including US-NRC and CA-CNSC.
• Interface with transmission providers to manage interconnection agreements and grid stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering License (PE or PEng) required.
• 7+ years of experience in heavy, high-reliability industries (nuclear, power, oil & gas).
• Must be located in the Eastern US time zone.
• Proficiency in ETAP software and standard electrical design codes (IEEE, IEC, NEC).
• Strong technical documentation and project delivery skills.
