What you will do

• Architect and scale the AI agents facing platform for Rovo Search, Chat, and Agent.
• Lead the evolution from vector/semantic search to a full hybrid search capability.
• Develop an agentic retrieval layer using graph-based orchestration for dynamic query plans.
• Ensure high-quality results, low latency, and cost efficiency at enterprise scale.
• Own the technical direction of the retrieval engine across the enterprise knowledge base.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Deep experience building production search, ads, or recommendation systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience shipping GenAI systems, LLM-powered applications, or AI agents.
• Expertise in hybrid search combining vector/semantic and full-text/lexical retrieval.
• Must be based in a country where hirify.global has a legal entity.

Nice to have

• Expertise with search platforms or deep learning training/inference platforms.
• Experience with major vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, Turbopuffer).
• Experience with scaling and deploying Machine Learning models.
