Facilities Space Planning Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Space Coast, Florida, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain strategic space plans across the facilities portfolio to support organizational growth and business needs.
• Manage space planning and capital projects from concept through occupancy, including scope, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.
• Analyze space utilization and workforce forecasts to recommend footprint optimization and translate headcount plans into space requirements.
• Coordinate architects, interior designers, construction managers, vendors, furniture procurement, fit-outs, renovations, and move/add/change requests.
• Maintain facility data in CAFM/IWMS systems and prepare space planning reports, dashboards, and proposals for senior leadership.
• Establish space standards, move management protocols, occupancy policies, and workplace strategy initiatives such as hoteling and hot-desking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, facilities management, construction management, urban planning, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in facilities space planning, workplace strategy, or project management, including complex multi-site or capital projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit and experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms.
• Understanding of workplace design standards, building systems, construction processes, building codes, ADA standards, and life safety requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and competing deadlines.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. nationality, permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum status is required under export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, PMP certification, CFM certification, or LEED accreditation.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
• Familiarity with BOMA measurement standards and large-scale campus master planning.
• Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficiency practices in facility design.
