Director/VP CFA (Commodities, Food & Agri)

ING Wholesale Banking provides financing, advisory, and daily banking services to large Belgian and international corporates across the food, agriculture, and commodities sectors.

What you will do

• Build long-term relationships with clients and prospects and position ING as their primary banking partner.
• Pitch, originate, and execute new transactions and manage a portfolio of Belgian clients domestically and internationally.
• Lead virtual client teams in cooperation with Risk Management, Product Specialists, and Relationship Managers.
• Develop sector expertise in food and commodities and expand internal and external networks.
• Coach junior colleagues and contribute to sector and Wholesale Banking Belgium initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in economics, management, law, or a comparable field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including banking and client management.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking, debt structuring, financial markets, debt capital markets, and corporate finance.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Dutch is preferred and/or French is required for communication.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure, collaborate internationally, and coach colleagues.
