Senior Account Manager - Public Sector

Location: 1831 Machelen, Belgium; hybrid working model. The role focuses on Belgian federal, regional, and local government organizations, with an established network ideally in Brussels and Wallonia.

What you will do

• Set strategic direction for key public sector accounts and translate client priorities into account plans and partnership objectives.
• Build relationships with decision-makers across Belgian government organizations and public agencies.
• Connect clients with consulting, delivery, solution, and resource teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Lead opportunity qualification, value proposition development, public tenders, framework contracts, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Establish governance, monitor service quality and account performance, and manage risks, escalations, and improvement actions.
• Support consultant positioning, delivery continuity, reporting, forecasting, and sustainable account growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in account management and business development, ideally within public sector organizations.
• Established network within the Belgian public sector, ideally at federal level and in Brussels and Wallonia.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, commercial, political-awareness, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Experience in ICT services, consulting, or digital transformation is highly valued.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required.
