TL;DR

Global Business Process Owner (SAP): Defining, governing, and maintaining standardized global business processes for SAP Operations as part of a major ERP transformation with an accent on process harmonization and governance. Focus on aligning ERP configurations with global standards and leading continuous improvement initiatives across a global enterprise.

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY (East Aurora). Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area.

Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Define and approve global process standards and policies for SAP operations.
  • Ensure ERP configurations align with global process requirements.
  • Act as the ultimate authority and co-decision-maker for process-related conflicts or escalations.
  • Collaborate with regional SMEs and process champions to harmonize workflows and minimize local variations.
  • Validate ERP configurations and workflows through integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor post-go-live process performance to identify and implement optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, focusing on complex supply chain processes and governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and lean methodology (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • At least 3 years of experience leading distributed teams; global leadership preferred.
  • SAP experience (ECC and/or S4 Hana platform) is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% (domestic and international).
