• Develop and maintain core banking systems ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Scale payment infrastructure using distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects and manage dependencies across various teams.
• Uphold engineering standards and contribute to a culture of continuous technical excellence.
• Explore and implement AI tools as part of the coding and shipping process.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer with a strong background in distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred).
• Experience with automated test cases and monitoring systems like Grafana, Prometheus, or Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Aarhus office 4 days a week.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with a security-first mindset.
