What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services for a new mobile finance product.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define and document API contracts.
• Work closely with product stakeholders to align on MVP requirements and delivery.
• Implement robust automated testing using PHPUnit and Behat.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving microservices and event-driven systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico or Europe (or willing to relocate to Mexico).
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken).
• Extensive experience with modern PHP (8.0+).
• Solid grasp of Symfony or Laravel frameworks.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, Event Sourcing, and CQRS.
• Strong commitment to automated testing and code quality.
