Senior Data Engineer

What you will do

• Build, manage, and maintain data extraction pipelines using AI coding assistants.
• Pre-aggregate data in clean rooms using SQL dialects when required by client/partner concerns.
• Fetch data through REST APIs using Python or Node.js.
• Coordinate with Product on new/changed data sources and reflect those changes as maintainable code.
• Identify and address technical debt and inefficiencies in the data platform.
• Design data governance and quality frameworks; mentor more junior team members and support regional onboarding.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong data wrangling skills in SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with modern data ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, InfoSum, or Redshift.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and testing best practices.
• Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, plus deployment abstractions like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both stakeholders and engineers.
