Senior Data Engineer (Adtech)

Location: Hybrid in Copenhagen, Denmark (average 4 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Build and maintain data extraction pipelines utilizing AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
• Design and manage data connectors that feed the Open Intelligence platform, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Pre-aggregate data in clean rooms using SQL and fetch data via REST APIs using Python or Node.js.
• Collaborate with Product, analysts, and data scientists to ensure data connectors meet business needs and technical accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members and act as a global knowledge center for data onboarding and best practices.
• Develop strong data governance and quality frameworks to ensure consistent performance of produced connectors.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Deep proficiency in data wrangling using SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with modern data ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of adtech and/or martech data and terminology.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Copenhagen office.

Nice to have

• Previous team leadership or project management experience.
• Experience writing Scala code for data processing.
