TL;DR
Data Engineer (Adtech): Building and maintaining core data capabilities and connectors for Open Intelligence with an accent on reliable, scalable data pipelines and adtech data integration. Focus on designing and implementing robust extraction processes and ensuring data governance.
Location: Hybrid (Copenhagen, Denmark). Must be based in or be able to work from the Copenhagen office (average 4 days a week).

What you will do
- Build, manage, and maintain data extraction pipelines using AI coding assistants.
- Perform data pre-aggregation in clean rooms using SQL dialects for client or partner requirements.
- Develop data fetching mechanisms through REST APIs using Python or Node.js.
- Translate product requirements for new data sources into maintainable code.
- Identify and resolve technical debt and inefficiencies within the data platform.
- Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data connectors.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in data wrangling using SQL, Python, or Scala.
- Experience with modern data ecosystems such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, InfoSum, or Redshift.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and deployment tools like Docker or Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and testing best practices.
- Familiarity with adtech and martech data and terminology.
Nice to have
- Interest in applying or learning the Scala language for data processing.
- Interest in leveraging AI coding assistants and prompt engineering to increase productivity.
