TL;DR
Lead Software Engineer (C#/.NET): Building and maintaining business-critical backend functionality for global investment management solutions with an accent on complex business logic and platform modernization. Focus on designing reliable, maintainable systems and evolving the product architecture using C#/.NET and APL.
Location: Must be based in Copenhagen, Denmark (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office).

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain backend functionality using APL and C#/.NET.
- Contribute to component design, code quality, and long-term system maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver client-relevant features.
- Improve reliability through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Investigate technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs to design sustainable solutions.
- Share knowledge and participate in technical decision-making within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Solid experience with C#/.NET and backend development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, clean code, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.
- Ability to work with complex business logic and collaborate across teams.
- Must be willing to learn APL (prior experience not required).
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Exposure to functional, array-oriented, or vector-based programming languages.
- Experience with Azure services or cloud-based development.
- Experience mentoring other engineers or taking ownership of components.
