What you will do

• Own and operate platform services, including customer portals and centralized document management.
• Lead architectural decisions and drive technical quality across the platform.
• Maintain engineering standards, shared libraries, and API/event specifications.
• Manage performance and reliability through distributed tracing, benchmarking, and incident response.
• Lead the development of developer portals and internal tooling.
• Execute identity infrastructure work and Keycloak migration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript and Java/Kotlin.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proficiency with Postgres, Elasticsearch, and observability tools like Datadog.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated, high-reliability environments.

Nice to have

• Expertise in identity and authentication (Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
• Experience with zero-downtime migrations.
• Background in developer experience or platform tooling (Backstage, DORA metrics).
• Prior technical leadership or product ownership of platform services.
