Development Engineer - Mechanical Design (Mechanical Engineering): Designing and developing mechanical components for wind turbines with an accent on robust welded structures and sheet metal components for industrial series production. Location: Rostock, Germany. Hybrid work (up to 8 days of mobile work per month).

What you will do
- Develop mechanical components methodically across the full product lifecycle.
- Analyze and manage technical requirements in compliance with the Machinery Directive and HSE aspects.
- Design welded structures and sheet metal components with a strong focus on manufacturability.
- Create and evaluate design concepts to drive prototype build, testing, and serial production.
- Support prototype validation and technical assessment of hardware testing results.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and 3D models using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
- Proven experience in designing welded structures and manufacturing-oriented sheet metal components.
- Solid knowledge of Machinery Directive and safety-driven development standards.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX) and PLM systems (Teamcenter).
- Fluent English skills for effective work in international, cross-functional teams.
