System Integration Lead (Electrification)

Location: Qingzhou, Shandong, China; onsite five days a week. The role supports electrification projects in Qingdao and Wuxi.

What you will do

• Lead electrification system integration for China RED projects, including requirements decomposition, interface definition, and packaging coordination.
• Drive machine-level fit-up, system integration, prototype builds, commissioning, and rapid validation in Qingzhou.
• Coordinate battery, e-powertrain, control, thermal, and charging systems to deliver seamless system-level integration.
• Lead system-level design reviews, DFMEA, DVP planning, test-bench integration, and validation execution.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues during prototype and testing activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Qingdao and Wuxi, QPG test engineers, and suppliers to accelerate technical iteration and implementation readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with electrification systems, e-powertrains, battery systems, or machine/system integration.
• Experience with prototype integration, machine fit-up, or rapid validation activities.
• Understanding of electrified machine development processes, including design reviews, validation testing, and issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary electrical, mechanical, and control systems, with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with off-highway equipment or construction machinery electrification.
• Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP, or system engineering methodologies.
• Experience in QPG or similar validation and test environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-site or global engineering teams.
• Technical leadership or project coordination experience.
