Senior R&D Engineer, System

Location: On-site in Shanghai, China

What you will do

• Take responsibility for assigned projects from project kickoff through laboratory and onsite evaluation.
• Provide engineering support for project-specific products, including DP, abatement, STP, CTIP, and customized facilities and equipment.
• Integrate electromechanical systems and specify project sub-assemblies.
• Define test plans, build test rigs, and support equipment type testing.
• Improve project design, quality, functionality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate technical requirements and issues with applications, technical support, site teams, product management, specialists, global resources, customers, and OEM teams.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving ability throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Project management skills, including work planning and duration estimation.
• Experience with system or equipment design and development environments.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and basic FEA.
• Understanding of piping and instrumentation diagrams, system schematics, FMEA, HAZOP, DFMEA, and other risk analysis methods.
• Knowledge of value engineering and Semi S2 standards is preferred.
