Senior Engineer (Network)

Location: Canberra, ACT, Australia; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote or home.

What you will do

• Resolve complex network incidents across enterprise, data centre, and wireless environments while meeting service-level agreements.
• Implement and manage network changes, upgrades, and patching through ITIL change and problem management processes.
• Configure, support, and maintain infrastructure using Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed technologies.
• Collaborate with customers, service management, and internal delivery teams during incidents and operational activities.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience operating and supporting complex enterprise networks.
• Technical capability across routing, switching, data centre, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed is preferred within the network environment.
• Experience working in an ITIL-driven managed services environment with ownership of incidents, problems, and changes.
• Clear and professional communication skills for customer and stakeholder engagement during high-pressure situations.
• Full Australian Citizenship is required.
