Network Engineer II

Location: London, United Kingdom. Travel to global sites may be required for infrastructure builds and major deployments.

What you will do

• Design, architect, and implement LAN, WAN, wireless, security, routing, segmentation, and enterprise load-balancing solutions.
• Own network engineering projects from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, and operational handoff.
• Install and configure networking and security equipment for global office build-outs and manage technology vendors.
• Implement monitoring, telemetry, SIEM integration, security alerting, compliance audits, and infrastructure reporting.
• Lead incident post-mortems and root-cause analyses while delivering systemic reliability improvements.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and network automation, standardize configurations, and support complex wired and WiFi issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols, subnetting, VLANs, VPN, load balancing, traffic shaping, firewall security, IDS/IPS, filtering, and 802.1x.
• In-depth experience with Juniper SRX firewalls and Juniper EX switching infrastructure.
• Strong background designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise WiFi solutions.
• Experience owning projects under rigorous change management and managing vendors.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize incidents, communicate effectively, lift 40 lbs, and travel to global sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Ruckus wireless experience.
• Experience with Okta, Active Directory, RADIUS, ZScaler, or Elasticsearch.
