Salary: $166,200 – $228,500 per year

What you will do
- Provide technical leadership for networking architecture, silicon selection, and software stack integration for robotics platforms.
- Architect next-generation in-robot network topologies, including zonal architectures and Single-Pair Ethernet (SPE).
- Perform design reviews, PCB debugging, and root-cause analysis on multi-node robotic systems.
- Optimize Ethernet and SerDes interfaces to meet deterministic latency requirements for motor control and perception.
- Develop and deliver proof-of-concept builds using NXP evaluation kits for AMR and humanoid use cases.
- Lead technical training, workshops, and project coordination across customers and business lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems development with microcontroller, switch, or SoC platforms.
- Proficiency in C/C++ firmware development for ARM microcontrollers.
- Deep knowledge of Ethernet controllers/switches, SPE PHY, SerDes, and PCIe.
- Experience with real-time Ethernet protocols like TSN and EtherCAT.
- Knowledge of functional safety (IEC 61508, ISO 13849) and cybersecurity (IEC 62443) standards.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of CAN networking (CAN FD, CAN XL).
- Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, NuttX) or embedded Linux.
- Familiarity with robotics middleware such as ROS/ROS 2 and DDS.
- Expertise in PCB layout optimization for high-speed signals in noisy environments.
