TL;DR
Director of Events (Experiential Marketing): Building and leading 's event and activation strategy across commercial marketing, partnerships, and key brand moments with an accent on healthcare conferences, VIP hospitality, and sports partnerships. Location: Remote (US). Candidates residing in Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Iowa (IA), Mississippi (MS), Nebraska (NE), South Dakota (SD), West Virginia (WV), and Wisconsin (WI) are not considered. Travel required ~30% of the time.
Salary: $139,400 - $195,000 (based on US region)

What you will do
- Develop and lead the overarching events and activations strategy for commercial business, partnership portfolios, and consumer brand moments.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution for commercial events, sports activations, and hospitality programs, including budget and agency management.
- Coordinate thought leadership presence across healthcare, science, and wellness events, partnering with executive stakeholders.
- Manage the experiential layer of sports partnerships, translating sponsorship rights into premium physical experiences.
- Build and scale the internal event infrastructure, including playbooks, staffing models, and reporting frameworks.
- Define and track KPI frameworks to measure event success across ROI, pipeline influence, and brand awareness.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in event, experiential, or integrated marketing, preferably in health tech, wellness, or sports.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling event functions and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience managing complex portfolios including executive programs, hospitality, and multi-stakeholder activations.
- Exceptional operational rigor in managing large-scale budgets, vendors, and concurrent workstreams.
- Strong analytical mindset for defining KPIs and translating data into strategic recommendations.
- Must be based in the US (excluding specific restricted states).
Nice to have
- Experience with regulated-industry events (healthcare, clinical, science).
- Background in sports marketing, sponsorship activations, or athlete-facing programs.
- Experience building event operations infrastructure from the ground up.
- Proficiency with Asana, Airtable, HubSpot, and Google Workspace.
